In 1978, the National Center of Aesthetics was founded in Yerevan with the help of Henrik Igityan. It is based on the world's first gallery of children's art created in 1970.

The National Center of Aesthetics is engaged in the development of children's art, exhibition and aesthetic education.

It was originally opened as a small gallery, later it created a permanent collection. It includes more than 150 thousand creations from different parts of the world. Various exhibitions are regularly organized in the museum: individual, group, national, as well as international exhibitions.
